USA -- Rallies in Sacramento and at least 11 other cities nationwide support medical marijuana as legal under Proposition 215 and criticize this week's federal action against San Diego area dispensaries.Medical marijuana patients and advocates demonstrated Wednesday in Sacramento and other U.S. cities to protest a major federal raid on cannabis dispensaries in the San Diego area.
About three dozen people carried signs and spoke out against the crackdown during a noon rally outside the U.S. courthouse in downtown Sacramento. Similar grass-roots events were planned at federal buildings in at least 11 other cities nationwide.Organizers blasted the federal Drug Enforcement Administration for targeting businesses that are legal under Proposition 215, a California law that permits marijuana use for medical treatment. Demonstrators said the action would restrict access to regulated pot shops for seriously ill patients. "Why are they going after the easy targets, people with health issues like me?" asked Thomas Coy of Sacramento, who uses marijuana to ease symptoms of AIDS. "They should go after the people who deal in the parks or on the street."On Monday, an interagency task force of DEA agents and state and local officers served search warrants at 13 marijuana dispensaries in the San Diego area. Officials seized marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms and hashish oil, along with computers and records, DEA Special Agent Misha Piastro said. The raids followed a six-month investigation into the dispensaries, including visits by undercover DEA agents who purchased drugs without medical necessity or other documentation, he said."That's drug-trafficking," Piastro said.Snipped:Complete Article: http://www.freedomtoexhale.com/draws.htmSource: Sacramento Bee (CA)Author: Robert D. Croonies
It's apparent now that the fed found a toe hole, a willing conspirator in their efforts to overturn prop215, or at least assault it, in the SD Council. The threat to sue the state over the med cards and to take the issue to the their masters level foreshadowed the raids to come. Tax payer dollar get pissed away in the form of OT to local, state and fed leos to chase a plant and those the need and want it and will now go underground again to get it.San Diego, not a nice place to visit.

"That's drug dealing", Piastro said.
That's like the pot calling the kettle black. No, that's like the toilet calling the sink dirty.

I hope you have a great time visiting your friends. I have been enjoying the mental break that Christmas brings sometimes. The news is so bad and Christmas can be so soothing. I think living in La La Land now and then is good for us.

I am having so much fun. I have a stack of CDs because I've been trying to make what I want. I'm getting closer. I have been searching the Internet for the prettiest pictures of Christmas whether it's lights or paintings. The one I just finished is 3 songs from TSO's Ghosts of Christmas Eve and 50 Pictures. I really am impressed with TSO. One of the singers had a heart attack and died right before this years tour started. In 7 years they have made $75 million and are doing around 100 concerts this touring season with two different groups. I think I really do like heavy metal now. Speaking of sweet...
I just bought one of those Honey Baked Hams. Man!! Those things are fine! Company party tomorrow! I got up at 3:30 this morning after retiring very early yesterday, and I had forgotten to unplug my Palm (Christmas? Holiday?) Tree. No other lights were on in the house, so I looked at it with a bit of interest. It was like looking at the Universe, with all the colors of Heaven. Twinkling and pulsing with random Joy. It was like I was gazing at the entire Universe from afar. I enjoyed my little moment of Universal Fiber Optic Peace. Thanks, God.Have fun and be safe everyone. LOVE! It's all you need.Wage peace on war. END CANNABIS PROHIBITION NOW!

Same place, different day,
"The raids followed a six-month investigation into the dispensaries, including visits by undercover DEA agents who purchased drugs without medical necessity or other documentation, he said."The above is quoted verbatim, as the investigator named Judas Shaved Head could best recollect.

DID YOU VOTE FOR HER??!!PLEASE BEWARE: Jane Harmon, United States House of Representatives (D-California), is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, too.PLEASE BEWARE: David Dreier, United States House of Representatives (R-California), who publically announced around four years ago that he wants to "break the back" of the Marijuana movement by utilizing "Gestapo tactics", after I protested in front of his branch office, is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. And in Houston...
we carried signs, passed out flyers with information about the DEA raids, some about the government knowing in 74 about cancer being CURED with Cannabis. People honked in support, waving thumbs and fists. Many people took flyers from Tom as he passed them out up and down the sidewalk. Many did not. Many dressed in finer clothes than I've seen in a while. In and out of the Federal Building. Soldiers in fatigues. (Homeland security I assume. That's what was on the police cars outside.) One Fed asked if we had a permit. We said no. He said stay on the sidewalk and don't try to come inside the building. We said OK. Many people from the Federal Building did not look, answer or otherwise acknowledge that other human beings were trying to tell them the wonderful news of a cure for cancer. Many just smirked and said things like "My God won't let me use that." I told them, "Mine will." They weren't impressed. The soldiers were polite and smiled when they refused our offer on Medical Cannabis literature. Nice flyers, ASA, though no one from your organization showed in Houston. But Norml showed. Thank you Houstonnorml. "Medical marijuana patients and advocates demonstrated Wednesday in Sacramento and other U.S. cities to protest a major federal raid on cannabis dispensaries in the San Diego area."And we did in Houston on Thursday, too. Yes we did. All FOUR of us. God bless you guys for showing up. It's the most productive lunch hour I have spent in a long time. It was on a work day, I knew not many people would show, it was an emergency response, and by golly four red blooded American citizens stood up and let the people of down town Houston Texas know that we don't approve of what the DEA did in San Diego, or anywhere else on the planet!Wage peace on war. END CANNABIS PROHIBITION NOW!
