Epilepsy
I have had epilepsy since I was 12 yrs old. I am now 20. The only time I have had grand mal Seizures are when I was not smoking pot. I recently quit smoking pot a month and a half ago because I thought I would be able to concentrate better in college. This is my first year in college. I am on 600 mg. of Zonegran a night. A few days ago I had another grand mal Seizure, i passed out and went head first into the front fender of a car, chipping my tooth and i had a hold of my tongue pretty good this time. I believe it to be better to go back on the marijauna....i would appreciate some replies...thank you

epilepsy and marijuana
I suffer from marijuana and find it very useful after a grand mal seizure where incredibly painful and debilitating headaches occur regularly. Smoking after such a seizure, although difficult, provides excellent relief. Marijuana used as a preventative epileptic medicine is a more difficult therapeutic medicine. Her treatments must be correlated with many factors such as diet, fatigue, other chemicals, ... All factors that induce epilepsy (at least in me)are related to some type of mental or physical stresses. I would suggest that she contact me for more detailed info. - Jason

Epilepsy
Hi My sister suffers from epilepsy. I saw a programme with David Suzuki called "The Nature of Things", which threw some very interesting light on various treatments and their side-effects. I should be most grateful to anyone who could offer any additional information, or advice as to where it can be found. In advance,Many thanks and best wishes,Glenn.
