This isn't right!

Six students at Highland High School in Gilbert were arrested this morning and accused of selling drugs and counterfeit $100 bills. The campus arrests came after a five-month undercover investigation by an unidentified Gilbert police officer who, with a shaved head and baggy pants, had been attending classes at the wealthy suburban high school.
The campus arrests came after a five-month undercover investigation by an unidentified Gilbert police officer who, with a shaved head and baggy pants, had been attending classes at the wealthy suburban high school. According to police, the undercover officer, a recent police academy graduate in his 20s, reported 12 to 15 drug deals, one occurring on the Burke Elementary School campus in Gilbert. LSD was sold for $5 and marijuana for $160 an ounce, police said. Ninety-five percent of the drug deals occured on the Highland campus in east Gilbert, they said. Does anyone think this is right?

well done
I am an English student whom has just emigrated to Arizona and after reading the article I thought it was strange to the reaction of the general public as this seems to be a regular occurance in English schools. I was often a frequent smoker of cannabis and supplied it too my friends and they had no effect from it as it just helped them to relax, so as a new pupil in 12th grade at Highland high school I think that these boys should be celebrated and not punished and that it should happen more often!Thank you and if you want to speak to me any further I shouldnt be too difficult to find in the school as I am the only new English girl there!Thank you Emily Cross.

It is so sad!
Really good comment! What concerns me is the alienation that using a "Snitch" or worse yet an undercover cop does to the very essence of what we want our children to grow up and be and have and that is trust, hope and belief! If you divide a nation of people over personal choices about their own life what will the children dream of? What motivating factors will be left for them?

School faculty pays students to bust dope dealers
Last week, a fellow student of mine was busted for selling marijuana to a fellow classmate. Here is what happened:1) "Tim" didn't like "Joe"2) Tim knew that Joe was a regular marijuana user3) Tim went down to the assistant principal's office, and offered to turn in a "drug dealer" in exchange for money.4) Tim caught Joe in the hallway and asked if he could "buy a 20-sack"5) Joe, who isn't normally a marijuana seller, offered to sell him the amount he currently had6) Tim bought the weed, went down to the assistant principal's office, got $40, and in turn, Joe was expelledNow... when you first look at this you might think: "Hey, big deal..." but when you look at it at a broader spectrum, you can see that due to Joe's bust, he now doesn't attend school, and will have to go to alternative high school in which he will never get a full state-indorsed high school diploma.Joe's education will be in jeapordy.See what is happening to our society? Doesn't it remind you of the "Hitler Youth" during WWII that busted their parents for speaking out against the NAZI government?
