Interesting findings
Source: San Jose Mercury News

When scientists recommended the medicinal use of marijuana's ingredients last week, they were relying on a little-known fact. Our brains already are flooded with the plant's active agents -- chemicals called cannabinoids that may play key roles in keeping us healthy, happy and free of pain.
Since the discovery of the first identified human cannabinoid -- christened ``anandamide'' from the Sanskrit word meaning ``internal bliss'' -- these compounds have become one of the looming mysteries of the nervous system because they touch so many aspects of human life, including how we eat, fight illness and form memories.Marijuana has so many possible medicinal uses it should be made a fast track drug for critically ill patients immediately!

Thanks Pat!

Thanks Pat for your comment! I seem to spend a lot of time here and Ron does want it interactive and so do I! I won't answer your post on the Political Board because I saw your post and thank you as alway since I'm answering it here!If they are going to construct web pages, we need to bombard people with the truth so we don't miss the first time in the history of the world that we might be able to help change these antique and outdated ways of treating people that experiment with mind expanding drugs. The drugs that I was given for years to help me with pain and tension turned me into a raving lunatic at times. Why do they only attack drugs that are illegal? Peace, FoM!PS: Pat when you make a post why don't you leave a link to your web site? It has really good information. Don't hide under that bushel! I think that's right! LOL!I went into the interactive link section and I see you are getting them done. Good Job! There is one web site that deserves to be put here or somewhere because it is an upcoming event! I will wait a little longer and post it in between news so the word gets out!Keep on keepin' on!

Another reason.... *****Important Message!*****

... is that it can help relax and "de-stress" you. So, if you're in a tough class, you might be able to concentrate better, if you've had some cannabis just before the class (or during the class....) Just a thought, guys.(Btw, FoM, I saw your reply to me, to my message I made yesterday; thanks.)*********************************************************************************************Oh, FoM, with the Feds spending millions (maybe billions of dollars...) on their Lies and Dis-information about the "War on Drugs." [As your recent post on the Politics Board of Cannabis Com shows, they're using OUR taxmoney to NOW spread their LIES over the Internet. Also, check out AOL's "Netfind"; you'll see more of YOUR taxmoney being used to promote the "War on Drugs" (anti-cannabis crusade) in the 'Banner Ad' at the top of the page.] I think it's very important to duplicate and replicate the pages and sites which have the TRUTH in them, Far and Wide on the Internet. So far, the 'scalely ones', as Hempity calls them (which, btw, is a very serious 'slight' to all reptiles around the world:), have not been able to keep the TRUTH from being widely spread, over the Internet. **8*This is a FIRST, in all of HISTORY, I believe, FoM. We MUST NOT allow this unique opportunity to escape from our grasp, imo.****Thank You, FoM, for helping spread the TRUTH around the world.*********************************************************************************************Sincerely,Pat.

Very Interesting!

This is what might be the reason that concentration might be better. I copied this from the article. This is interesting for me too! Thanks for the comment!Last year, scientists at the Neurosciences Institute in San Diego showed that cannabinoids block the formation of memories in animal brain tissue. This might keep the brain from getting overwhelmed with unimportant memories.

HHMMMM????

I think you need to give more information on this subject. It is really interesting because a lot of people who do marijuana notice that they think more logically when under the influence. They admit the fact that some of their reflexes are slowed down at this time but they it helps them trough class. The question is whether or not this is a true fact or not. Most would like to know, especially myself.
