Although the country's policies are still being finalized, early reports indicate that Belgium citizens will be able to possess and grow marijuana for personal use. The lines outside their shops were a mile long. I also realized that a lot of these Belgium people were driving cars to Holland to buy their cannabis, and then driving back very stoned. All these car trips cause pollution and jam-ups, and maybe some of the travelers will get really stoned and not drive so well. So I decided to do my civic duty to promote the European Union's quality of life, traffic safety and environment."Van Schaik's selfless efforts consist of selling several varieties of marijuana and hashish, including a newly-arrived batch of African marijuana and Moroccan hash, to people in Belgium via home delivery."We're also designing and building grow boxes that will hold up to five plants, complete with a 400 watt HPS bulb, grow supplies, gardening instructions, and seeds from the famous Positronics seed catalog. We call this our starter kit. Even if they've never grown before, they'll be sprouting some beautiful Positronics seeds within days, and within months, they'll be harvesting the best home-grown they've ever had," Van Schaik said.Belgian officials have already talked about Van Schaik's weedy website in newspaper and television interviews. When I recently interviewed Dutch and Belgian officials about Europe's rapidly-changing marijuana laws, they indicated that exporting marijuana would still be considered a crime. Van Schaik says he isn't worried."I've always been the Willie Wortel who believes that we make the law by breaking the law," Van Schaik said. "The Belgium government says it will allow people to get weed in Holland, and to have it, and to grow it themselves. I'm just offering a service to make things easier for everyone. If the governments don't let me send weed to Belgium, I guarantee you that a lot of unlicensed people will be happy to do it anyway. Sure, I expect the Dutch government and the Belgians to call me any time. Maybe they will be happy, maybe they will be sad. But I am performing a civic service by offering cannabis to Belgium, and I think the officials will see it my way." Unfortunately, I don't have much optimism about any changes here in the U.S. I wonder if Europeans are aware of the atrocities committed in America in the name of the War on Drugs?I visited Amsterdam a number of years ago, and it took me a few days to get over the fear that a SWAT team was going to come crashing through the coffeeshop door. (For our European friends, a SWAT team is a law enforcement para-military unit, used to arrest drug suspects - earlier this year, an 11-year old boy was shot in the back with a shotgun as he lay on his bedroom floor by a SWAT team executing a drug raid. Hi,Thanks for the exposure, really appreciate it...Fact is, the belgian site and ours were already working together, so solving the supply problem this way was the only trick we could use.I had my first request from Switserland, they depenalised posession last year already, I'm just going to give it a try.Stay informed, this might mean a major change in Europe...Nol. Thats all that i can really say. Nol Van Schaik is a very smart drug dealer. I have no problem with the idea of people being able to order weed like they would order a pizza. I wish I could move to holland. I live in the United States, the "greatest" nation of freedom, thats some bullshit aint it? Well if they legalize marijuana in the United States, Imagine how sweet that would be to order weed and have it delivered to your house. Thats like some stuff you would dream about. Oh well I guess the United States can continue to waste billions a year to support the Drug war, yet good ole mary jane is everywhere and no one in any city has any problem getting it. Good thing we like to waste money, we might as well burn it. I think that its funny that in this country we can legally kill ourselves buy purchasing cigarretes, which contains a drug proven to me harmfully additive, and we can poison our bodies with alcohol and die from poisoning and drive millions to death on our nations roads, yet we can't smoke a little chronic that has been proven non addictive and has many medical benifits and does less harm than any of the other two legal drug.
