Posted by FoM on March 10, 1999 at 07:18:03 PT LOS ANGELES Medical marijuana advocate and AIDS patient Peter McWilliams WON'T be puffing pot while awaiting trial on drug charges. A Los Angeles federal judge denied McWilliams' request that he be allowed to smoke the drug. He says without marijuana, he can't keep down the nauseating anti-viral prescription drugs he takes to stay alive. McWilliams is claiming he has the right to grow and smoke pot under a California law passed by voters in 1996. McWilliams must undergo random drug testing to remain free on bail. http://www.cnn.com/ Home Comment Email Register Recent Comments Help Post Comment Name: Optional Password: E-Mail: Subject: Comment: [Please refrain from using profanity in your message] Link URL: Link Title:
