An international agriculture summit in Minnesota will provide North Dakota farmers with details on producing industrial hemp.
The symposium takes place today and will include growers from North Dakota, Minnesota, and Manitoba, Canada. Legislation regarding industrial hemp as a crop is making its way through the North Dakota legislature. The crop is already authorized for production in Canada.

Industrial Hemp In North Dakota

It is about time! I have been advocating industrial hemp for some time now. What I have been most disturbed by is the regulatory authority's (DEA) refusal to educate themselves! The comments made by the lagal entities blows my mind! It is not difficult to distinguish cannabis hemp from cannabis grown for medicinal purposes. I also live in Humboldt County where hemp could never really make it, for the marijuana activist do not want hemp here. It will cross polinate with high tch strains and lower the potency. It is amazing how much time the DE spends irradicating marijuana in Humboldt County, and they don't know what it looks like? Come on! Anyways, just thought I would say, Good Goin North Dakota! Keep it up! I'm on your Governors side!
