Gatewood Galbraith, Reform Party Candidate for Governor, will take his campaign across Kentucky to meet with voters during the final week before the election in the "Victory Bus Tour."
The following is a schedule for the Galbraith-Lyons '99 Victory Bus Tour.Thursday, October 289 a.m. Eastern time - King Solomon Baptist Church, Rev. Charles Elliott, 1620 Anderson Ave, Louisville. Gatewood will meet and talk with the people of West Louisville about their problems, explain his platform and talk about jobs, healthcare and Worker's Comp that have been destroyed by the Governor.1 to 5 p.m. - Gatewood will be at General Electric's Appliance Park to greet the workers and discuss their problems with Worker's Comp and jobs being taken from Kentucky by NAFTA and GATT. G.E. workers will also get to meet some of their United Mine Workers of America brothers who are supporting Gatewood and the Reform Party movement.Ray's Indoor Range at 4402 Kiln Court at approximately 6 p.m.Friday, October 29The Galbraith tour bus, named the "Gatemobile", will embark on an eight city, day long dash, beginning at the Courthouse in Nicholasville and ending in Bowling Green. The "Gatemobile" will make scheduled stops at the courthouses in the following cities: 8 a.m. - Nicholasville 9 a.m. - Lancaster 10:30 a.m. - Stanford 12 Noon - Somerset 2 p.m. - Colombia 3:30 p.m. - Glasgow 5:30 p.m. - Franklin 7:30 p.m. - Bowling Green Saturday, October 30Boone County Extension Services Bldg at 9 a.m. for the Northern Kentucky Legislative Caucus meeting. Gatewood will meet the legislators to say hi and shake the hands of the citzens before listening to the concerns of all during the meeting.Sunday, October 31Western Kentucky.
