Upcoming Event, October 2, 1999

Welcome to the Drug Policy Forum of Wisconsin Home Page, and home of the DPFWI discussion list. The Drug Policy Forum of Wisconsin is a growing group of activists from all over Wisconsin who understand that the so-called "war on drugs" is a failure and that it is time to adopt a more humane approach to drug policies.
The DPFWI mailing list provides a place for Wisconsin activists to discuss developments and strategies regarding drug policy reform in the Badger state and beyond. The website is also intended to be a resource for those interested in furthering drug policy reform in Wisconsin. Check out the Activist Calendar for upcoming events in Wisconsin and vicinity. Scroll down the page for links to articles about recent important developments in Wisconsin. And be sure to visit the Medicinal Cannabis in Wisconsin page, chronicling the drive to enact legislation to protect state patients who benefit from this therapy. This website and the DPFWI are hosted by MAP/Drug Sense. You can follow the links below to their websites to find out how you can make a difference in this effort.http://www.drugsense.org/dpfwi/index.htmThe Great Midwest Marijauna Harvest FestivalOctober 2, 1999 Madison Wi.Saturday High noon UW Library mall (the opposite end of State Street from the Capitol) Biff 'n Blunt, Los Marijaunos, Smokin' with Superman, And more bands!4:20 celebration! WARNING: Disinformation campaign under way

Certain postings in hemp-related bulletin boards around the web have been infiltrated by government disinformation experts. They intentionally post absurdly immature and ridiculous arguments to 'dumb-up' the converstations and to make the movement look dangerous, frivolous, and basically nothing that any mature marijuana advocate would want any part of.Beware posts like:"Legalize pot, and sex in church!"This is an example of classic disinformation. But don't worry too much; They are being watched, they are being tracked. We have traced 17 of these agents back to their actual offices (they don't know that yet). The information is being stored, recorded, cross-referenced, and compiled in our database. Once we have enough evidence (we probably have enough now, but, like the government itself, we prefer an overwhelming advantage before initiating hostilities) we will be suing the FBI (the 17 agents we've traced were posting from computers in various FBI buildings around the nation with the taxpayer's dollars.) for:Conspiracy to commit fraud,Fraud,Conspiracy to slander,Slander,Misappropriation of funds,Civil Rights abuse (invasion of privacy)There will be criminal charges brought against the various directors that gave the orders, and if they refuse to turn in their bosses, they will do a minimum of seven years in prison each.We expect 8 of the 10 to be charged to 'take the fall' for their boss (Barry McCaffrey?), but we fully expect the other 2 to 'sing'.It will be a fun day!p.s. Post carefully, post legally. In case you weren't already aware, the FBI receives a record of every post in this, and all other hemp-related boards. It also contains ALL identifiable data on your computer if you use a Microsoft os (IP, email addresses, user names, MSOffice ID# (didn't know you had one, did ya?), as well as the server info from every server it went through (this allows them to trace your location like tracing a phonecall. [That's how we get them too though!]) This is actually legal because the FBI found a loop-hole; They've basically issued a de-facto search warrant for the entire population of America. Guilty until proven innocent.Big Sister is watching you.
