THE PEOPLE’S CLASS ACTION FOR FREEDOM FROM GOVERNMENT PROHIBITION OF THERAPEUTIC CANNABIS will be closed to new applicants on Midnight, Friday, July 16, 1999.
Judge Katz ruled to allow the defendant in this case, the United States of America, an extra 90 days to prepare for trial. The Class Action has utilized the time to sign up a couple of hundred more patients who are also suffering from the prohibition on the medical use of Cannabis. Unless the lawyers from the Justice Department ask for another delay, that extra time is almost up. If any person wants to join us in suing the government for the medical freedom to use therapeutic cannabis, applications must be sent by midnight on July 16th. HOW TO APPLY: Send your name; address; DOB; Contact information, including address, phone, any website or email addresses, to one of the addresses below. Include a brief summary of your medical condition, and a brief statement about how Cannabis benefits you. There is a $35 application fee required of each patient. The fee can be worked out over a couple months time, so don't wait to send in your application.
