Friends, Mike Baldwin called the other day and told me that police are planting evidence on patients. Although I was skeptical that the Placer County Sheriff's Department would actually go so far as to plant false evidence, I listened intently.
Mike told me that the Sheriff's department planted marijuana in his trash, but even his own attornies didn't believe him. Now, it turns out, the police have been caught red-handed. According to Mike, he went to visit Sandy Sanborn, the 78-year-old man who was recently knocked down, handcuffed and threatened with guns, along with his other family members. Sanborn told Mike that the deputies who raided them had told a judge they found "fresh-cut marijuana in the trash." Unfortunately for the Sheriff's department, absolutely no marijuana was found in the Sanborn house. Today I called Scott Sanborn, the 40-year-old son of Sandy Sanborn. Scott told me that they have seven people living in their house and two air conditioners running full time. He thinks their unusually high utility bills were detected by police and they planted marijuana in their trash in order to obtain a search warrant. That got me to thinking. After we received word that we were under surveillance, confirmed by our spotting the infamous green Jeep with blackened windows, we spoke to our advisors and they suggested I set up a separate system for disposing of freshly cultivated marijuana from my garden. Videotapes and evidence taken during the raid will confirm these two systems of trash disposal. If it was stormy weather, I tossed our stems and debris into our wood stove, otherwise it went into the garbage disposal. One exception was my ashtrays, which I dumped into the trash, since my advisors felt that partially consumed pot alone would not trigger a raid. I was surprised when the police report said they had found ample amounts of marijuana leaves and stems in our garbage. I remember thinking to myself at the time that it seemed odd, but I just assumed I has somehow screwed up and put leaves and stems into our household trash. Then I realized that the police had alleged they found marijuana leaves and stems in the same trash intercept that had my letter which began: "Attention Law Enforcement." That leaves two possibilities:(1) I ignored my own system of disposing of signs of cultivation and dumped several ounces of plant material into the trash along with my Attention Law Enforcement letter or (2) Mike Baldwin is right and the Placer County Sheriff's Department has a lot of explaining to do.Let Freedom Grow, SteveSat 7/10/99Articles on Steve Kubby from 6-21-99 to 7-10-1999!http://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1990.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1978.shtml http://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1936.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1924.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1923.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1915.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1911.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1895.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1885.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1884.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1876.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1862.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1843.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1825.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1817.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1810.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1801.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1792.shtmlhttp://www.cannabisnews.com/news/thread1732.shtml
