San Jose -- Attorney General Lockyer, along with representatives from several state and federal agencies, today announced the Campaign Against Marijuana Planting (CAMP) program shattered the previous record by seizing 466,054 plants during the 2003 eradication season. The amount represents 100,000 more plants than last year and has an estimated street value of over $1.9 billion.
Although only patients and laborers were actually caught, the 2003 eradication season pumped millions of dollars into law enforcement agencies, giving police lots to celebrate. Headed by the California Department of Justice, the multi-agency program also includes the California National Guard, United States Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management, United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and dozens of local and county law enforcement agencies. CAMP conducted 182 raids in 32 counties during the growing season, which runs from late July through early October. In addition to the record plant seizures, officers made 35 arrests and seized 50 weapons.Despite the record harvest and the deaths of several marijuana growers, no law enforcement agents suffered serious injuries.Lockyer was joined in San Jose by Jimenez, DOJ Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement Acting Chief Dave Tresmontan; DEA Assistant Special Agent in Charge Greg Sullivan; USFS Special Agent in Charge, Region 5 Jerry Moore; California National Guard Lieutenant Colonel Jay Brookman; and Santa Clara County Sheriff's Lieutenant Ed Laverone. The Sierra Times maintains its operation only by our sponsors and our readers. It Is Too Easy
San Jose -- Attorney General Lockyer, along with representatives from several state and federal agencies, today announced the Campaign Against Marijuana Planting (CAMP) program shattered the previous record by seizing 466,054 plants during the 2003 eradication season. 466,054 little guys, its almost a blur in reality, the statistics belie the innocents that are kept in these american prisons, for every little plant there is a "HUMAN" incarcerated..Lockyer, you are a fraud, and an indecent expression of human decency, along with your lawyer and legislative conspiritors, you are an injustice to this world,I pray for the day when such foul demons such as you and your associates are swallowed into the HELL that you have maintained and supported,.."Lockyer was joined in San Jose by Jimenez, DOJ Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement Acting Chief Dave Tresmontan; DEA Assistant Special Agent in Charge Greg Sullivan; USFS Special Agent in Charge, Region 5 Jerry Moore; California National Guard Lieutenant Colonel Jay Brookman; and Santa Clara County Sheriff's Lieutenant Ed Laverone."I'm sure High Fives were in order,
But someday, you will cry and pray for forgiveness,
When your legs are swollen and you lay thier
Facing your passage, like a helpless old man,
When the portals of death summon you
You will howl and cry like a little animal
Begging for forgieness
Begging and crying to the endless NIGHTI pity your wretched souls,
For the blood cries out, and
You must listen for eternity.Change this world,
Vote..gw

Good thing thay got those damn gardeners...
Despite the record harvest and the deaths of several marijuana growers, no law enforcement agents suffered serious injuries.Just like that. Their lives mean nothing, they were just lowly plant-tenders.
