The Kentucky Supreme Court has granted discretionary review of the lower Court's ruling which found Kentucky's marijuana statute unconstitutional because it makes no distinction between industrial hemp and marijuana.
Pubdate: June 10, 1999 The Kentucky Supreme Court has granted discretionary review of the lower Court's ruling which found Kentucky's marijuana statute unconstitutional because it makes no distinction between industrial hemp and marijuana. The case originated when Woody Harrelson planted of four certified industrial hemp seeds in Lee County to test the constitutionality of Kentucky's law. Since then, North Dakota, Hawaii and Minnesota have passed legislation allowing their farmers to grow industrial hemp. For information contact: Hon. needing someone help
My name is Nathan Skinner and I am going to school at E.K.U.. I am an environmental advocate and I am writing a paper about the benifits of hemp and how it can offer may jobs and also how it will help out the environment. I need to find someone to interveiw and find out some more facts out the primary, secondary, and the tertiary phases of hemp farming and production.
