Jesus was almost certainly a cannabis user and an early proponent of the medicinal properties of the drug, according to a study of scriptural texts published this month. The study suggests that Jesus and his disciples used the drug to carry out miraculous healings. The anointing oil used by Jesus and his disciples contained an ingredient called kaneh-bosem which has since been identified as cannabis extract, according to an article by Chris Bennett in the drugs magazine, High Times, entitled Was Jesus a Stoner?
The incense used by Jesus in ceremonies also contained a cannabis extract, suggests Mr Bennett, who quotes scholars to back his claims. "There can be little doubt about a role for cannabis in Judaic religion," Carl Ruck, professor of classical mythology at Boston University said. Referring to the existence of cannabis in anointing oils used in ceremonies, he added: "Obviously the easy availability and long-established tradition of cannabis in early Judaism... would inevitably have included it in the [Christian] mixtures." Mr Bennett suggests those anointed with the oils used by Jesus were "literally drenched in this potent mixture... Although most modern people choose to smoke or eat pot, when its active ingredients are transferred into an oil-based carrier, it can also be absorbed through the skin". Quoting the New Testament, Mr Bennett argues that Jesus anointed his disciples with the oil and encouraged them to do the same with other followers. This could have been responsible for healing eye and skin diseases referred to in the Gospels. "If cannabis was one of the main ingredients of the ancient anointing oil... and receiving this oil is what made Jesus the Christ and his followers Christians, then persecuting those who use cannabis could be considered anti-Christ," Mr Bennett concludes. So here we have the answer to the question, what would Jesus do? Burn a fatty! As far as the rest of it, well I don't think even Jesus would believe that some old book, written a few thousand years ago by a bunch of old Jewish men, has any more or less truth to it than any other historical text.

I'm speechless
A journalist finally has the guts to come right out and say anti-cannabis is synonymous with anti-christ. The legions of DEAth can't hide behind their ridiculous laws much longer.

I'd like to read this in the major news papers.Mayan,You asked “If God created cannabis then who wishes to eradicate it?” Here is just a few of the places where We may get a Biblical indication. If the internet shows itself as a great tool in fighting the cannabis prohibitionists, so then even more the Bible will help discredit the prohibition of cannabis. In some cases it will expose obedient Christians from disobedient Christians, which the Bible speaks about. The combo of the internet and the Bible may together, whip up a storm.Knowledge and investigation of “kaneh bosm” is big news that all Christians must know about, for the renewed light it offers.Malachi 1:6-14,
Sin of the Priests (THE SUBTITLE)6 " 'A son honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My respect?' says the LORD of hosts to you, O priests who despise My name. But you say, 'How have we despised Your name?'
7 "You are presenting defiled food upon My altar. But you say, 'How have we defiled You?' In that you say, 'The table of the LORD is to be despised.'
8 "But when you present the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you present the lame and sick, is it not evil? Why not offer it to your governor? Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you kindly?" says the LORD of hosts.
9 "But now will you not entreat God's favor, that He may be gracious to us? With such an offering on your part, will He receive any of you kindly?" says the LORD of hosts.
10 "Oh that there were one among you who would shut the gates, that you might not uselessly kindle fire on My altar! I am not pleased with you," says the LORD of hosts, " nor will I accept an offering from you.
11 "For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name will be great among the nations," says the LORD of hosts.
12 "But you are profaning it, in that you say, 'The table of the Lord is defiled, and as for its fruit, its food is to be despised.'
13 "You also say, 'My, how tiresome it is!' And you disdainfully sniff at it," says the LORD of hosts, "and you bring what was taken by robbery and what is lame or sick; so you bring the offering! Should I receive that from your hand?" says the LORD.
14 "But cursed be the swindler who has a male in his flock and vows it, but sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord, for I am a great King," says the LORD of hosts, "and My name is feared among the nations1 Timothy 4:1-5Apostasy(the subtitle, which means the future told) (New American Standard Bible)1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times SOME WILL FALL AWAY FROM THE FAITH, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,
3 men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.
4  For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude;
5 for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer. Titus 3:9-119 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.
10 Reject a factious man after a first and second warning,
11 knowing that such a man is PERVERTED AND IS SINNING, BEING SELF-CONDEMNED. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 & 9-123	Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the APOSTASY comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,&9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,
10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
11 For this reason God will send upon them a DELUDING INFLUENCE so that they will believe what is false,
12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. There are more verses in the Bible from the very 1st page through the very last page that expose the Truth, and how it pertains to plants from Christ God Our Father.THE PROHIBITION OF CANNABIS MAY BE THE ORIGINAL LIVING SIN.

If God created cannabis then who wishes to eradicate it? It can provide food, fuel, fiber, paper, plastics, medicine and much more that can sustain us. Those who seek to destroy it are doing no service to their fellow man. The most forbidden plant in the history of the world will expose all of the lies & hypocrisy, for it is no man's or no government's plant to forbid.Cannabis Hemp:The Invisible Prohibition Revealed SHADOW OF THE SWASTIKA:The Real Reason the Government Won't Debate Medical Cannabis and Industrial Hemp Re-legalization way out is the way in - "MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT" 9/11 WAS AN "INSIDE JOB" 9/11 Truth Movement - Selected Resources for Researchers and Activists:

Liberal Democrats surf a wave of the rising tide
Blair's popularity for wanting to war on Iraq because the US says so, is in bad shape. The Liberal Democrats have had a surge in populatity and they just happen to be for the complete legalization of cannabis. The London Times reports the following paragraph on their website-,,2-533927,00.htmlLabour is now on 37 per cent, down five points compared with the 2001 general election, but the Tories are unchanged on 32 per cent, while the Lib Dems are now on 25 per cent, up six points since then. GW Pharma has a great medicine to calm your nerves if you are feared to incapacity by the incessant call to bomb the most surrounded nation in history. Stressed out and don't have insurance. Well these pills will be reasonably priced with no physical side effects listed on the warning label. The ads are coming. The ads are coming. Inventory is now being produced for what will surely be a wonderful selling future. Coming to the UK and then Canada. Everywhere else to follow.
