Back Prop. 203? Are We All Crazy?

John Sperling's continued funding of efforts to legalize drugs in Arizona now reaches ever further in yet another crusade (with fellow wealthy gadfly partners George Soros and Peter Lewis) to not only decriminalize possession of marijuana and other drugs but to also have our Department of Public Safety hand it out free to users in 2 ounce baggies.I can't begin to relate the repugnance I feel for the low-life pushers that patrol our schools to approach, befriend and ultimately infect our children with these poisons as they walk through our neighborhoods.
Studies show that a vast majority of our school-age children have knowledge of where to buy marijuana, and most have tried it.And now, Mr. Sperling wants to give this entire, illicit, dirty, poisonous underground industry a partner in our state cops. Are we all crazy? The polls show that this measure is going to pass. Ballot Proposition 203, the Drug Medicalization, Prevention, and Control Act of 2002 is well named, sort of. It will "medicate" nobody (marijuana is still illegal under federal law), it will "prevent" law enforcement from putting the bad guys away even as they are forced to become the pushers' patsies, and it will "control" drugs by injecting more of them into the blood streams of our kids.I suppose this is one way to deal with poison. Legalize it. The protagonists, playing on your sympathy for the ill, have a cowardly, hidden agenda that needs your attention and disdain. If I had as much money as these guys, I'd at least get a wing named after me at a drug treatment center somewhere. One of the reasons I hear most often to support Proposition 202 on Indian gaming is that gambling is not a good thing, so it should be restricted to the reservations. And, after all, the Indian nations got a bad deal and this is, more or less, a payback. So, therefore, 202 is OK. Is he a Dick or a MORON?
or both?...lol....What a piece of lying, sensational crap. What kind of Dick is this guy that he says it's OK to "stick" it to the Indians, because we don't want gambling in "our" society, yet sell it off as being "commpassionate" to the Indians past (and present)oppression? How 'bout this beauty, "It will "medicate" nobody (marijuana is still illegal under federal law), it will "prevent" law enforcement from putting the bad guys away even as they are forced to become the pushers' patsies, and it will "control" drugs by injecting more of them into the blood streams of our kids."You think because the Government says so, that NOONE can get "medicated" or get relief? You're reason that it's "illegal" is assbackwards. Can't you see that Dick? And you're moronic reasoning that it'll "prevent" law enforcement from putting bad guys away....DICK?!?!!? There will be no bad guys selling MJ because it'll be SO CHEAP! No Black Market. No Pushers. And of COURSE, kids will be "injecting" MJ all day if this passes. PURE SENSATIONALISM.Get a grip, DICK. Get a life.....idbsne1

Feel the hate
Damn, look at all of it! An "illicit, dirty, poisonous underground industry", "low-life pushers" tricking our kids into getting hooked. Think maybe, just maybe it's biased? This guy took the war on drugs propaganda a little too seriously.

ramblings
I suppose this is one way to deal with poison. Legalize it. The protagonists, playing on your sympathy for the ill, have a cowardly, hidden agenda that needs your attention and disdain. You ought to know. Take a look at any gas station that sells tobacco. The stuff is pure poison and i unfortunately, remain addicted to it. Where's the compassion for me and the other 400K annual deaths from this substance? You people don't care one iota about the actual effects of the substance or the penalties surrounding it or you wouldn't be such obvious hypocrites. One system or the other works better, but stop trying to shove this open duplicity down my throat. Criminalize smokes and booze and i'm behind all y'all 110%. Until then, you're still lying hypocritical scumbags. At least following recriminalization of booze, you can drop the hypocrisy and just be lying scumbags. A step in the right direction.

The Kids
They always bring up the kids, as if we really want to drug the kids.Guess what? Our fine medical establishment already does that ... it's called Ritalin ... et al ... that they shove down Kids throats to "mellow them" for school. You want to mellow them? See the mother that threw Ritalin out and found that small amounts of pot cookies did more for her son than anything else she tried.Back to the point ... no one in here wants kids to get illegal pot, which is what all unprescribed pot is to a child.Try this all you haters of reason: If we stopped arresting or even caring about adult use, mayhap we could get a handle on those who sell to kids?Whatcha think MR. Foreman? Or do you think at all?Off topic: gosh I love to say that even though it's not true ... 'Bout six Cannabis Reference Library CDs sent out, send me an address folks ... get your own ...
