Ed "NJWeedman" Forchion, sitting in Burlington County Jail for allegedly violating terms of his parole, has been on a hunger strike for the last five days. According to a friend of Forchion's, the marijuana advocate has lost nearly 18 pounds while he refuses to eat.Forchion was thrown in the clink last week after he sought to put three commercials on Comcast's cable system. The commercials dealt with First Amendment issues and the war on drugs.
They do not, however, advocate the use of marijuana.But that's what members of the Intensive Supervisory Program said he did.ISP is a heightened state of parole.
