Press Release
Source: U.S. Newswire
Under the banner "Americans For Safe Access," activists in 50 cities nationwide will attempt to disrupt business-as-usual on June 6 at local outposts of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Patients and their supporters vowed to ratchet up the fight for state medical marijuana laws following raids on dispensaries operating in Santa Rosa, Calif. on Wednesday that resulted in two arrests. Over the weekend, trainings in dozens of cities will cover non-violent civil disobedience and complement the barrage of letters, faxes, phone calls and other correspondence to decision makers that the group is working to generate in the weeks ahead.
Now legal in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, dispensaries are the only safe source for seriously ill patients to access medical marijuana. "These raids are criminal," says Steph Sherer, executive director with Americans for Safe Access "nine states and 73 percent of the American public believe that medical marijuana should be safe and legal, yet the DEA is now working harder than ever to turn these patients into criminals." Now, with new pressure from the Bush Administration to connect the "war on terror" to the "war on drugs" under the rubric of "narcoterrorism" the Agency is aggressively targeting state laws that permit medical marijuana. This new push to crackdown on "renegade states" will receive a final green light on June 7 when lawyers expect the United States District Court for Northern California to finalize a decision ruling that Federal drug prohibitions supercede state laws. During the "day of direct action," compassionate use advocates will employ a host of non-violent tactics to get their point across. According to the "Cease and Desist" order that the group plans to post prominently at all 50 DEA offices across the nation, "effective immediately, any person who makes unauthorized entry into medical marijuana dispensaries operating lawfully under state jurisdiction will be subject to coordinated grass-roots resistance." ......Spooky.....
..I think it's rather spooky to see this article on USNewswire............I regularly surf by USNewswire, and it is usually dominated by articles of a federal propaganda-ish nature...I've got a feeling that they published this "press release",as some sort of obscure harbinger....?....I'll betchya there will be BIGTIME "crowd control" from local law enforcement agencies...I'll bet theuy will try to nuetralize it before it begins,by restricting access to the buildings,,and immediatly busting protesters for not having a "permit",,,pulling over "suspected protesters" and charging people with violating the numerous obscure laws that are used to smother demonstrations......it's going to be an exciting day.......indeedddd

Busch and company are crazy
 This
new push to crackdown on "renegade states" will receive a final green light on June 7 when lawyers expect the
United States District Court for Northern California to finalize a decision ruling that Federal drug prohibitions
supercede state laws. This is really sad that the American people are not outraged by this. History is not going to look kindly on this fraud pushed on the American people. People with any sense do not look kindly on it now. I think it was the FDA director under Clinton that told Peter Jennings in his special called "Bitter Medicine" that for the FDA to consider it medicine it just has to be better than nothing. Marijuana is a lot better than nothing for many things and it has a huge advantage over pills in that the masses of the earth can plant a seed in their backyard and have a miracle medicine that can help them with many things. It is all crap and I believe someone should call for the impeachment of the President on the floor of Congress. This is just unbelievable and not that many people are even concerned. Some fucking America this turned out to be.ICBS,VAAI,POW

....Federal Terror!...

........................."renegade states"..................? _________..I dont know who came up with this term,,but it has a chilling flavor...In other words,,a state where voters have passed laws are "rengades",,and the laws were passed by "renegade" voters,,who acted as renegades when they chose to vote against federal laws!..Such renegade voting is a form of terrorism against the federal government.....?
