UKCIA May Day was J - Day!

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting loads of activists, some from this list, many CLCIA members whom I have never met before, and activists from France, Holland and Italy. The CLCIA stall was continually busy with everyone seeking a petition to sign (we collected several hundred on the letter to the European Court, which will be sent soon - how about yours?). The three types of stickers sold very well and soon most of the people on the Common were sporting stickers.
Both on the march and on the Common, cannabis was smoked openly, although I did hear that someone had been told by a cop near the entrance to the Common, to keep the joint until they got inside. We arrived at the march late, because the CLCIA coach from Norwich was held up in traffic by the march itself. As soon as we could park up we grabbed our banners and flags and tried to catch up. When we did, the spirit of the day was great. Arriving at the Common I was astounded by the sheer size of the circle of stalls and marquees. I spent the first half hour giving away a thousand fliers to eager hands, but covered only a fraction of the area. Every group of people on the grass, were on the grass, or else on the resin. Smoking continued openly even though yellow-coated policemen wandered amongst them. I'd say it was a very enjoyable day. My only disappointments were that the speakers could not be heard far outside the marquee, and the lack of interest from the press. I believe NOW is the time to start planning an event in your town or city and I think maybe 28th September could be the date, although maybe for the Universities a few weeks later would be better. On local level marches and gatherings would attract a great deal more publicity for our message. We must try to use these events to get a simple message across to the public. IMO this needs to start happening on a local level. All the Best, Alun!News article submitted by Pat Whelan! Thanks Pat!

HERE IS A CORRECTION TO MY LAST COMMENT.
Hi FoM and Friends,Please note, I see I made a mistake, in my previous comment, to you. The corrected version, from Dr. Williams' mail advert is as follows:"After many years of testing on patients with all types of cancers, MGN-3 caused NK cells to start killing 30% of cancer cells during *the first hour* (this is in ~"italics." After two weeks, the kill percentage jumped to 70% (NOT 99%, as I said in my comment) in 99% of all patients. And, at the end of *just two months*, their immune systems were killing 27 times more cancer cells."He also says: "After just one week, MGN-3 patients experienced an 800% increase in NK activity."He says it's entirely non-toxic and "But MGN-3 is also extremely beneficial to individuals whose immune system has been weakened by disturbed sleep patterns... high stress... heavy smoking... drinking... exposure to toxic chemicals... and environmental illness. I also recommend it for anyone suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome or severe bacterial, viral, or fungal infections." ....I just wanted to make this correction. Thanks. Pat.

Roger that-FoM-Just Thanks & IMMUNE SYS. NOTES....
Hi FoM,thanks for the reply and info. I just wondered if there was another way to tell if another "reply" had been added; that's all. Yes, there's no need to "bother" Ron now, that's for sure. I had a couple of other minor questions, but I'll let you "go" now, FoM. Iow's, there's no need to reply, just to say "thanks", etc. Thanks FoM, and thanks again for the kind em words. I'd like to send you some words about MGN-3, which is a specialized food suppliment, created in Japan, which, supposedly, revs up your immune system safely, and helps to cure cancer, etc. I was giving my friend some, and it really seemed to help. Since your friends are old, etc., and since this MGN-3 stuff is quite expensive, you may not wish to try it for your friends. Btw, I found out about it from a mail advert from Dr. David G. Williams, and he says some pretty impressive and glowing things about it, such as: one hour after taking this suppliment, your immune system is killing 30 of all your cancer cells, and (I think) after 2 weeks, it's killing 99% of them. He also says that after 2 weeks (months?) your immune's "Natural Killer" cells are killing 27 times as many cancer cells, as they would be w/o this suppliment. FoM, he also tells of human cancer patients who were cured in 6 to 8 months, including one person who is the only known survivor of their form of cancer (they've survived for 8 years now.)I've got more specifics, FoM, from the advert, and URL links with more info on this product, if you're interested. I wanted to mail this info (and more, too...) to you tonight, but I am feeling really lousy, now. I may try to em this "comment" post to you, FoM.Thanks again, FoM. Good Luck and Have Fun. Pat.

Just Thanks, Pat...
Hello Pat!Ron will change and post info on the icons at the top of the page. When you think of it this is still so new and it wil grow and change as time allows. It's better to start slow and get there with a solid web site, I believe. How I tell about posts is I make a mental note of how many I see and answer and check when I see one added. That's how I checked and found your post. Thanks for the advice but with all that is happening I sure don't want to bother Ron now. When he has time he'll get it done. I'm sure he is very busy! Talk with you later and have a nice visit with your family! Peace, FoM!

Thanks FoM-I forgot about the Icons-about T.Paine-
... question, regarding what happens to the "older" news posting here at this fine http://www.cannabisnews.com web site. Tom asked, I think, what happens to the "older" postings, and if they get thrown away, etc.? Apparently, so far at least, they do not get thrown away, but, in order to see them, you have to click on a cannabis-leaf Icon, in a given message, to see the older, "related" postings.I wonder if there is any other way to view the "older" postings, which, (apparently) are not shown, when you go to http://www.cannabisnews.com ? I also wonder if there will come a time, when there will be too many "archived" messages (under the same, or a similar topic--which you can access by clicking on the cannabis leaf Icon) to be archived, and/or, displayed? FoM, another thing I wondered is how you can tell if any "new" replies have been left here, "under" a given post, since the last time you visited... maybe you can't? Btw, "my" computer usually doesn't "tell me" on most message boards, when I've read a post, or not; iow's, all the subject titles stay the same color, whether I've read the post or not.Well, thanks again, FoM, for all your very good work, here... and elsewhere, too. I'll try to stop bye here at this "thread" one more time, just in case you leave me another message. I feel really harried sp?, now, with visitors coming-this isn't fun for me. I've got too much to do and too little time in which to do it-before they come. Ugh!Well, thanks again, FoM, and best luck with your good endeavors, etc. Pat.Ps: I'm sorry, but I may not get a chance to answer your latest (one or two?) em's, before our visitors arrive. However, please let me thank you for sending them my way - I really do appreciate them, FoM. Also, thanks for the aromatherapy link, from the other night. I'm interested in this topic, because I love good smells and hate bad ones, and I have a very acute sense of smell. CUL, FoM.

Just Thanks Pat!
Thank You Pat!Since I don't get any e-mail news I sure appreciate you bringing us these letters! I tried to get email news one time and got flooded with too many articles so I cancelled it. If you click on the icons you can see a list of all the articles in that category since the site opened. Some of the links won't work but many still do!Keep On Keepin' On the BuMpY Road We Travel!PS: At Tom Paine's suggestion I submitted a news article( non-cannabis related) to Map Inc. last night under another name! When I first tried a name I used ML then I changed it too FoM!Peace, FoM!

Just Thanks, FoM....
Hi FoM,gee, what a nice surprise, to see my own (wow, ha, ha) name "in lights" and in print; thanks. Well, FoM, I've been a bit of a bad boy, and I've neglected coming here to this fine http://www.cannabisnews.com web site as often as I should have. I'll try to do better, from now on. The layout is different than what I'm used to back at good, "old" http://www.cannabis.com, but it's great. I'm all for good diversity, even if it takes a bit of time to get my tired old brain used to something new.... I especially like the nice visual touches here, such as the pretty cannabis leaf at the top of each article, etc. The "scattered" pretty photos are a very nice touch, too. [They show up very nicely on my old borrowed computer.]Well, FoM, it's after 3AM and I must crash, or the really bad brain burn will shortly commence. Must be nice to the old noodle, you know. Thanks again, FoM:)... and may I wish you Great Luck, Success and Happiness, with THIS fine http://www.cannabisnews.com web site, ... and elsewhereandwise, too.BFN, Pat.
