This is great to read!

Arcata's police chief walked into the house and was escorted upstairs to a bedroom filled with marijuana plants and enough smokable pot to fill a grocery bag.
Instead of reaching for his gun or a search warrant, Mel Brown offered a handshake. ``I used to leave places like that with plants and prisoners,'' Brown said on the way out of Jason Browne's marijuana garden. ``But here, law enforcement is holding out the olive branch to people who smoke medical marijuana.'' Uniform implementation of 215
Hello Dr. Ganj,We do need uniformity of law and it very well could work! I believe people break the law everyday because we don't know half the laws on the books that can effect us! I am going to post an article on Nevada! It looks like they might be well on their way to decriminalizing! That's so good! Have a good weekend! Peace, FoM!

          Uniform implementation of 215
It sure would be nice if all of California cities would recognize The Compassionate Use Act of 1996 as the law that it really is. The voters of California want medical marijuana available to the people that are in need of it. I've never really liked cops because they usually have the attitude that all drugs are bad. However, it's refreshing to see chief Brown in Arcata has the ability to distinguish between what used to be illegal, and accept that medical marijuana has been voted in as law, and try to implement it as such. I applaud his efforts, and hope similar systems will be set up in different cities. If this type of card system were in place in Orange or San Diego counties, Marvin Chavez wouldn't be in state prison right now.How is it that cannabis clubs are welcome in San Francisco, Oakland, L.A., and other cities in California, but not inOrange county? We must have a uniform system in place in California, or others like Marvin Chavez, who only intended help, will end up in jail. This is not what we wanted when 215 was voted in two years ago.Dr. Ganj
