Will this help stop drinking at Proms?
Source: Bergen
When Amanda Spears bought her ticket for the Delaware Valley Regional High School senior prom this week, she was more concerned about finding a pretty dress than taking an alcohol breath test.
But that's something she may have to face when she arrives at the prom. On March 29, the school board adopted a policy that would require random alcohol testing at school dances, starting with the May 1 prom. The school's Student Conduct Committee, composed of students, parents, teachers, and board members, recommended the new policy after more than a dozen students were suspended for showing up drunk at the fall homecoming dance. The whole article is on the above link! How do you feel about alcohol testing at the Prom?

breathilizers at prom
The Delaware Valley Regional High School did not give breathilizer tests to students at this years prom. They decided that because the tickets were purchased before the board decided to test us, that we would not be given the tests this year. There were about 5 cops at our prom, but no breathilizers.
