Senate Okays Bill Forcing Penalties For Marijuana!

Lansing, MI The state Senate overwhelmingly approved legislation last week that would impose criminal penalties for minor marijuana offenders in the cities of Ann Arbor and East Lansing. 
"Senate Bill 380 would needlessly subject thousands of otherwise law abiding citizens in Ann Arbor and East Lansing who smoke marijuana to criminal arrest and incarceration," said NORML Executive Director R. Keith Stroup, Esq., who denounced the measure. "Many of these citizens are college age students, just starting careers, who could find their futures jeopardized by the long-term ramifications of an arrest and criminal record." It is hard to believe that States would tighten penalties when Marijuana has gains medical approval!

Wont stop me from going
Ill be there saturday at noon as stoned as any person could be. If you do go just dont smoke down town. Get high before you go and have nothing illegal on your person. Im sure that was just a april fools joke.

That's it UaN it's the money! I sure hope that the story in High Times wasn't an April Fool's Day joke. It would upset me if High Times did the story and it wasn't true!Peace, FoM!

......I think they have done this is, at this point in time, with the Hash Bash one day away it would certainly make for a money making situation for Ann Arbor.....just think of the money they could make on fines, lawyers, incarceration fees, etc. It seems to always be money motivated!
